چکیده

We introduce a framework for recovering the 3D motion and shape of unknown, moving curves from two or more image sequences acquired simultaneously from distinct points in space. We use this framework to (1) identify ambiguities in the multiview recovery of 3D motion for arbitrary curves, and (2) identify a novel spatio-temporal constraint that couples the problems of 3D shape and 3D motion recovery in the multi-view case. We show that this constraint leads to a simple algorithm for estimating 3D curve motion and 3D shape simultaneously. Experiments performed with synthetic data suggest that the algorithm allows accurate recovery of 3D curve motion, and yields shape estimates of higher accuracy than those obtained when stereo analysis alone is applied to simultaneous snapshots of a multi-view sequence.

Toward Recovering Shape and Motion of 3D Curves from Multi-View Image Sequences

We introduce a framework for recovering the 3D shape and motion of unknown, arbitrarily-moving curves from two or more image sequences acquired simultaneously from distinct points in space. We use this framework to (1) identify ambiguities in the multi-view recovery of (rigid or nonrigid) 3D motion for arbitrary curves, and (2) identify a novel spatio-temporal constraint that couples the proble...

Computation Optical Flow Using Pipeline Architecture

Accurate estimation of motion from time-varying imagery has been a popular problem in vision studies, This information can be used in segmentation, 3D motion and shape recovery, target tracking, and other problems in scene analysis and interpretation. We have presented a dynamic image model for estimating image motion from image sequences, and have shown how the solution can be obtained from a ...

اصلاح حرکت در تصویربرداری اسپکت میوکارد با استفاده از مدل‌سازی منحنی چند جمله ای

Background and purpose: Patient motion during myocardial perfusion SPECT can produce artifacts in reconstructed images which might affect clinical diagnosis. This paper attempts to present a new approach for the detection and correction of cardiac motion utilizing the data obtained during the imaging process. Materials and methods: Our method quantifies motion through polynomial curves modelin...

Pseudo Zernike Moment-based Multi-frame Super Resolution

The goal of multi-frame Super Resolution (SR) is to fuse multiple Low Resolution (LR) images to produce one High Resolution (HR) image. The major challenge of classic SR approaches is accurate motion estimation between the frames. To handle this challenge, fuzzy motion estimation method has been proposed that replaces value of each pixel using the weighted averaging all its neighboring pixels i...

3-D Modeling of Human Heads from Stereoscopic Image Sequences

The modeling of heads from image sequences is of great interest in the context of virtual reality, telecommunication and computerized animation systems. In this contribution a passive 3–D scanning system is described that automatically computes a complete 3–D surface model of a human head and shoulder part from a stereoscopic image sequence of a person rotating freely in front of the camera. No...
